CVU Wins The Skyline League Premier Club Championship For Fall 2011!
The Premier Club Championship is awarded seasonally to the club who garners the most points throughout all of the Premier Division. It is the grandest prize of the Skyline Club Soccer League. Each team entered in the league may earn club points for their local association through their team’s results.

This is the first Club Championship for CVU, then Lynchburg United, since 2005. This is a great accomplishment for our club and all of us should be incredibly proud of this accomplishment. The construction of these new fields at our Regional Soccer Complex marks a significant occasion in the history of our Club and represents an important milestone for the community at large. During the ceremony the Club will announce additional enhancements planned for the Complex that will enable us to expand opportunities for local soccer players and most importantly to host even larger tournaments that will have a positive impact on the local economy.
Those specially invited to attend include members of the Lynchburg City Council, Campbell County Board of Supervisors, Virginia’s Region 2000 Partnership, Greater Lynchburg Chamber of Commerce, Lynchburg Retail Merchants Associations and other community and business leaders, as well as all members past and present of the CVU Family and the greater Central Virginia soccer community. Members of the press are also invited to attend.
